It's my belief to "Keep life simple." Life is stressful enough. Balancing work, family, social life, friends, and relationships can be overwhelming at times. I practice from a harm reduction holistic theoretical orientation. It combines person-centered (respect for autonomy) with CBT/systemic therapy (a critical look at culture and attachments). By identifying wants and needs, I can assist clients with locating triggers and establishing healthy coping skills to alleviate any mental, emotional, or physical stress. I work particularly with parents and clients dealing with ADHD, Life choices, anxiety, self-esteem and accountability. I assist clients in adjusting to unexpected life transitions by constructing healthier boundaries with themselves and others to balance their lifestyles. I value the importance of creating a supportive, transparent, and collaborative relationship throughout the therapy process. I do this by providing a safe space for clients to embrace their vulnerabilities. Difficult experiences often show up in the body. Accessing embodied experience helps clients evolve. These shifts in the body have a corresponding effect on our actions, routines, and relationships. Through mindful awareness, we discover how the body holds our experiences. We learn to recognize habitual patterns and create new ones. The healing starts now...

I typically work with young adults, adults, and seniors, and I also have experience supporting teens. Hello! My name is Christy Vachavake and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker here in Wisconsin. I work with adults in individual psychotherapy, and offer a warm, supportive space where you can speak openly and feel heard. I take a whole-person approach, considering how biological, psychological, and social factors all influence who we are and how we cope with life’s challenges. I bring a broad range of professional and life experience into my work, which allows me to approach therapy with steadiness and perspective. Before and throughout my work in mental health, I’ve supported people through a wide range of life experiences and challenges. That background has shaped a calm, steady approach to therapy and allows me to sit comfortably with difficult emotions, complex situations, and topics that can feel hard to name. In our work together, we focus primarily on the present — how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are showing up in your day-to-day life right now. While past experiences are important and may be explored, we focus on them mainly when they help us better understand what you’re dealing with today. My goal is to help you build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop a clearer understanding of yourself so you can move through life with more confidence and balance. Our first session is primarily a space for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what you want from the therapeutic process. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and expectations, and you’ll have the opportunity to get a sense of my style and how I approach therapy. This initial session is not a full picture of what ongoing therapy feels like, but rather a foundation — my goal is for you to leave with a clearer sense of direction and whether working together feels like a good fit moving forward.
I utilize a non-judgmental, client centered approach combined with evidence-based interventions to identify strengths to help manage mental health. I am solution focused therapist that seeks to provide you with the tools to manage your own mental health.
I bring over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, supporting clients ages 5 and up across a range of settings including outpatient care, adolescent dual-diagnosis day treatment, and adult residential treatment. I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, anger management, parenting challenges, ADHD, relationship concerns, and substance use. I also hold a substance use specialty attached to my license, which allows me to support clients with co-occurring mental health and substance-related concerns in a grounded, practical way. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward with clarity, support, and realistic tools for change.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist, providing support and guidance to LGBTQ+ folks who often don’t see themselves represented in the world around them or reflected in their search for the right-fit therapist. While I regularly help folks work through depression, anxiety, and trauma, we also freely discuss other topics that might not otherwise feel comfortable, including sex, faith, and the impact of diet culture. Nothing is off limits. I also regularly work with neurodivergent folks, especially around the emotional impact of ADHD, and exploring autistic identity. I am licensed in both New York and Wisconsin, and see clients throughout both states through video sessions.
Se habla Español! If you're a burnt out parent, an over thinker, consistently getting in your own way, unable to create new habits, a worrywart, someone who experiences big feelings, or someone with an unmanageable inner critic... You can keep coping the way you are OR we can upgrade the system! Our lively, challenging, encouraging providers at ElevateEQ Health can't change who your boss or manager is and they can't tell your in-laws to stop being critical or judgmental. However, they CAN help you identify the goals, words, boundaries, and actions you can use to communicate with others and improve your life experience.
I strive to create a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore past experiences, navigate current challenges, and build meaningful change. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside clients to identify their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and move toward the life they want to create.

I work with folks looking to understand their own identity. Whether that be in relation to themself or others. Balancing life as an emerging adult while being a college student can be overwhelming. I specialize in working with folks who are queer, trans, gender expansive, and neurodivergent. I am trained in a trauma therapy called EMDR, which can help people who have experienced traumatic events to find healing. I support folks in finding skills for regulating their emotions, sitting in the discomfort of hard feelings, and being more present in their day to day life.
It’s hard to be a human, but we don’t have to do it alone. Holding an LPC license and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Bailey is a relational therapist who leads with the idea of, ‘if it’s important to you, it’s important’. Therapy is not a one size fits all approach, and Bailey tailors her work to meet you where you are, walk alongside you and build genuine, authentic, real, therapeutic relationships. Throughout her journey in the field, Bailey is grounded in her experience working in mental health case management, teaching at Indiana University, facilitating programs at the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and incorporates her experience in the way she seeks to understand, explore, challenge and recognize areas of stress and also resilience that her clients navigate. Using a curated blend of EMDR, ACT, CBT, polyvagal and relational therapy, Bailey specializes in work with young adults, college students, young women, educators/teachers and aspiring therapists/helping professionals to process identity building, boundary setting, relationship dynamics, trauma, anxiety, depression and adjustment to life transitions. Many things can be true at the same time, and Bailey is ready to walk with you to hold life’s many feelings. Bailey believes that therapy is not a ‘one size fits all' approach. She recognizes that the individual is the expert in their own life, and therefore, her approach is to walk alongside each person to provide a validating, empathic and nonjudgmental space for care. With that, Bailey tailors each session to the individual’s goals while leaning into various modalities and training that may include: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Polyvagal Therapy, and/or Mindfulness and Person Centered therapy. Life and our experiences are all relative, and Bailey values the idea of, ‘if it's important to you, it's important’. Therefore, it is vital to hold space to work through life’s various coexisting moving parts in support of our overall wellness.
