With over 15 years of experience providing social, emotional, and mental health support, I specialize in working with emerging adults, and adults navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, academic concerns, grief and loss, life balance, anxiety, and depression. I believe it’s okay to feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or afraid—it’s part of being human. It’s also okay to ask for support. My approach focuses on recognizing your strengths and natural capacity for growth while creating a space where you feel heard, validated, and empowered. Clients have described me as a compassionate, attentive therapist who genuinely cares and helps them move beyond the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be holding them back. If you're looking for support, I'm here to help.

Feel like you know all the coping skills, made all the connections from past events to current behaviors, but find yourself still struggling to get out of that negative mindset? Ethereal Embrace Counseling came from my own journey in struggling to find a counselor that I not only connected with, but also approached therapy differently. I love to work with individuals who are also looking for something different in their treatment. A focus not only on the past and ways to "fix" you, but a focus on embracing you and your truest self!
The passage into young adulthood can be both daunting and exciting. The stresses and joys of being independent can become overwhelming at times as one continues to figure out where school, friend, and family balance come into play to create a satisfying life. I have helped many through the twists and turns of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, family and friend dynamics, as well as helping those with mood and personality disorders. You don't have to navigate these struggles alone!

Feeling swamped with everything on your plate? Between academics, deadlines, relationships, home life, part-time work, studying, and making tough choices, the list feels endless. Sometimes that sense of overwhelm can push you to try harder, or it can make you want to stay in bed all day. Skipping classes, avoiding people, not wanting to bother anyone—these can be signs it’s time to ask for help. I’m here for you, even if you’re unsure, and I hope to offer some guidance and support.
My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate methodologies and techniques of psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding I work to create a safe and trusting environment for individuals to share their inner most thoughts and feelings. I will also meet each individual where they are in life and to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. Through psychotherapy you will be able to create a balance in your life on a mental, emotional, physical and interpersonal level. Psychodynamic therapy focuses on the psychological roots of emotional suffering. Its hallmarks are self-reflection and self-examination, and the use of the relationship between therapist and patient as a window into problematic relationship patterns in the patient’s life. Its goal is not only to alleviate the most obvious symptoms but to help people lead healthier lives. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from depression, anxiety and grief counseling to academic issues to family dynamics and beyond. An area of focus I have is working with women who have had unsuccessful/unhealthy or codependent relationships with men. I have assisted women in developing a healthier sense of themselves by developing a greater sense of their own identity and less of an identity defined by their relationships. Along with areas of healthy boundary setting, focusing on developing personal goals and positive cognitions regarding themselves, they have developed healthier and more fulfilling relationships with men and a more positive sense of themselves. I also work with individuals dealing with compulsive behavior of sex and/or pornography use. Together we work to find the underlying root causes of the behaviors and then to find healthier ways to cope and deal with those urges/desires in the present. The individual will also focus on developing a healthier sense of self along with healthier boundaries, emotional awareness of needs and a more appropriate style communicating needs and wants to others.
Many people need help through the rough patches in life, while others struggle every day with a mental illness. With empathy and acceptance, I will meet you at your current level of distress, addressing your concerns, taking into account biopsychosocial factors contributing to your discomfort. I use an eclectic approach to therapy utilizing strength and evidence-based therapies such as Bibliotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Therapy, Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, Mindfulness, Psycho-education, Solution Focused Therapy, as well as Supportive Therapy.
With over 40 years in the mental health field — first as a master's-level therapist and later as a psychologist — I've had the privilege of supporting people through some of life's most difficult moments. My experience spans individual therapy, crisis intervention (providing immediate support during mental health emergencies), and disaster human services (helping communities recover after traumatic events like natural disasters). But my work is only one part of who I am. I'm also a mom, a grandma, an active member of my community, and a proud dog lover. These parts of my life have given me a deep appreciation for the everyday challenges people face — and they shape the way I show up for my clients. I see the world through real-life experiences, not just textbooks, and I bring that perspective into every session.
If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, or self-esteem issues related to school or other life concerns, you are not alone, and I'm here to help! I am passionate about providing support for female college students (teens and young adults) to work through these issues and discover your ability to overcome the challenges you are facing. I believe you are the expert of your life and that therapy should be a place where you feel safe to explore, express, and enjoy yourself. Because of this, my role is to guide you along the way with use of effective techniques, a fresh perspective, compassion, humor, and absolutely no judgment to help you create growth, understanding, and lasting change. I am currently accepting new clients for groups only. Each group is no more than 6 young adult women who are all experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, and stress. If you're interested in joining, email me today!
I believe that at the core of our humanity lies the profound need for connection, and it's within this bond that transformation thrives. My mission is to dismantle the shackles of diet culture, foster a healthy relationship with food, cultivate a positive body image, and empower you to embrace the life you envision. Utilizing evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, and RO DBT, I strive to empower you to step outside your comfort zone and embrace life's challenges with resilience. In our sessions, you are free to be authentically yourself, whether that means showing up in pajamas or accompanied by a furry friend. I am a certified eating disorder specialist with a passion for guiding individuals through the intricate paths of recovery. Specializing in anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, I also extend my hand to those battling OCD. You've already taken the courageous step towards healing by seeking support, and I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey to find peace. Whether it's a heart-to-heart conversation or a step-by-step action plan, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Schedule a meeting, and let's pave the way towards a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.
I am so happy you are here! I am dually licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC) and have been practicing as a therapist since 2021. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns they want to change but haven’t been able to shift on their own. My role is to help you develop a deeper understanding of your inner self so you can better recognize patterns, emotions, and needs that may be driving your thoughts and behaviors. From that place of awareness, we focus on self-growth and healing by building insight, emotional regulation skills, and healthier ways of coping.

Specialty: Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused My approach to therapy is person-centered, focusing on your unique strengths rather than a label. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered to grow. I blend existential exploration to help you navigate life's transitions with solution-focused strategies that support practical, meaningful change. I also incorporate motivational interviewing to help you connect with your own values, strengths, and motivation for change. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and confidence as you move toward the life you want.
The students I work best with are often balancing a lot at once. They may be trying to keep up with classes, work, family responsibilities, relationships, or uncertainty about their future while also managing stress, anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt. Many of the students I see are high-achieving and hardworking, but underneath the surface they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or like they're carrying more than other people realize. Some are adjusting to college life, navigating major life transitions, or trying to figure out who they are and what they want for themselves. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, academic stress, confidence, or simply feeling lost, therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself and develop tools to move forward. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can be yourself, explore what's getting in the way, and build the skills and confidence needed to thrive both in college and beyond.
To people looking in from the outside, your life looks pretty great. On the inside, though? You’re replaying a conversation from last week on repeat, wondering what they thought of you and whether you should or shouldn’t have said this or that. You often overthink or overanalyze decisions to the point where you feel paralyzed in making a choice at all. Imagine a life where you… - No longer feel controlled by your thoughts - Can celebrate your imperfections - Feel confident making decisions & expressing your point of view - Are driven by your true passions & values I specialize in working with clients who are craving a sense of freedom in their lives. They’re tired of feeling defined by their anxiety or like no one in their life can really understand what they’re going through. My clients are willing to get vulnerable and embrace their imperfections (even when it’s uncomfortable) in order to make a difference in their life and their world. My approach to therapy is direct, honest, and driven by methods that actually work. I want to help you identify what’s truly important to you, confront your fears, and create change in your life.
