Finding the right support is one of the most important steps you can take for your mental health, and I'm here to help you take it. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in anxiety and mood disorders, I work with individuals navigating emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges, offering medication management, treatment planning, and holistic, patient-centered care. My goal is to serve as an engaged and invested partner in your care, empowering you through education, support, and evidence-based treatment. I look forward to helping you gain confidence, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based care is the framework of my practice, as I’m deeply passionate about creating a safe space where you feel heard, understood, and supported in your mental health journey. With me, you can always expect a warm and welcoming environment where your goals and experiences shape the direction of our work together. Through personalized therapeutic techniques and medication management, we'll work to build insight, strengthen resilience, and improve your quality of life. Every approach is tailored to you, because no two journeys are the same. My path to becoming a PMHNP was shaped by years at the bedside as an RN, as well as three years in inpatient psychiatry. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the connection between physical and mental health, and reinforced my commitment to compassionate, whole-person care. The clinical perspective I developed in those settings informs every session. Understanding how the body and mind work together allows me to bring a more complete and holistic lens to your care. When I'm not seeing patients, you'll find me out for a run, exploring somewhere new, or recharging with friends and family. Time in nature and meaningful connections keep me grounded, and that same sense of balance and presence is something I strive to bring to my work with you.

I will help you listen to your muse, interpret your dreams, identify your interpersonal patterns and face the fears and anxieties that haunt you. I will treat your troubles with the utmost respect because they help you learn and grow. Gratitude softens pain. I find parallels between creativity & spiritual inspiration.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, particularly experiences related to family of origin and attachment. While I work with adults of all ages, I have a special interest in supporting emerging adults - including college, graduate, and medical students - as they manage the emotional and relational challenges that can arise during these stages of life. I support clients in addressing current life challenges while also seeking to answer questions about why these challenges exist in the first place. I do this through a collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed approach that blends deeper insight with practical support. Drawing from psychodynamic and attachment-based work, along with CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, I help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, and build skills that support meaningful, lasting change. Starting therapy can feel uncertain, and it’s completely normal to have questions or mixed emotions. Please know you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to reach out to see if we would be a good fit.
Are your emotions getting the best of you — influencing behaviors that impact your relationships, career, or sense of self? Are worry thoughts or mood shifts becoming harder to manage? Building a life is difficult when strong emotions sweep you away. They can pull you from your values, your goals, and even your identity. Emotion regulation isn’t about getting rid of feelings — it’s about learning how to ride the wave without letting it carry you off course. I’m a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician — the gold standard for DBT providers. I specialize in emotion dysregulation and use evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, and trauma-informed therapy. I offer adherent DBT individual therapy and DBT skills training in both a group and 1:1 format. Navigating the decision to pursue therapy, whether for yourself or a loved one, is a step in the right direction. If you’re ready, reach out to schedule a free initial 15-minute consultation. On our call, we’ll discuss goals and what our work together could look like.
Therapy is an invitation to identify and gently question beliefs and perceived obstacles that stand in the way of our wellness, happiness and living our lives fully. We base our work together on you- what you see happening in your life, what you want to be different, your strengths, your goals and bigger life plans. Together we identify ways to make positive small shifts to clarify and work toward obtaining your best future. We believe in positive psychology interventions that are solution focused and strength based. We believe your mind is the most powerful resource. We can help you to learn how to use it to make powerful, lasting change.
If you've ever felt caught between worlds, or like your path hasn't quite followed the expected script, I get it — I've lived that too. I work with individuals of all ages who struggle with self-criticism, people-pleasing, and difficulty asserting their needs in relationships or life decisions. Working primarily from a psychodynamic approach, I help clients explore the deeper patterns and early experiences that shape their present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll investigate unexamined beliefs and influences that may be holding you back from living a life more fully like your own.

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am an associate clinician at Aspire Counseling Associates. I am supervised by Yushi Wang. With more than a decade of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I support adults 18 and older as they navigate some of life's most complex and personal challenges. My areas of expertise include ADHD, complex PTSD and trauma, attachment disorders, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use, grief and loss, and life transitions. For those navigating relational difficulties, I also offer couples counseling, family therapy, and group counseling to help strengthen the connections that matter most. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins within a safe, authentic, and supportive therapeutic relationship, one where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal process, and I encourage you to trust yourself in choosing the path that feels like the best fit. I take a holistic and collaborative approach to care, one that is always tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from psychoanalytic, person-centered, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral perspectives, I integrate evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, somatic work, trauma-informed care, and attachment-based interventions. For those in couples or family therapy, this foundation helps strengthen communication, deepen connection, and create lasting change in your relationships. Whatever brings you here, my goal is to help you connect with your inner guidance, develop tools for growth, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. My path to becoming a therapist is a personal one. At 18, I knew something was wrong and reached out for help, scared and unsure of what to expect. What I found changed everything. My first therapist left a lasting impression on my life, and her impact planted the seed for the work I do today. That experience shaped not only my decision to become a therapist, but the kind of therapist I strive to be: someone who meets you with the care and presence that truly makes a difference. Outside of sessions, you'll often find me lost in a good book, working on a piece of writing, or hiking with my group through whatever trail is next on the list. I never pass up a chance to get to the beach, and live music holds a special place in my heart. Above all, I cherish the time I spend with my family and friends, and being a mom is one of my greatest joys.
