At Ocean Gem Psychological Care, we strive to provide outstanding clinical care to all of our patients and families. No two treatments have ever been exactly the same and that’s because of you! Each individual is unique, with distinct personalities, support systems, problems, and strengths. Each of these variables (and more) are important aspects to consider in our work together. While it is important that we discuss areas in your life that are problematic for you, we also strive to address areas of personal strength. One’s strengths may be used effectively in combating the negative aspects of one’s life and strength-based interventions can make therapy fun! I am a short-term therapist who works specifically with clients with chronic health conditions. Over the course of 20 sessions, we learn all about what is happening in your body and brain, learn and practice coping skills to manage anxiety related to your chronic medical condition, and have the option to complete hypnotherapy for chronic illness as well. If you are struggling with mental health related to a chronic health condition, and especially if you are experiencing high amounts of anxiety and low quality of life related to health symptoms, you will be a great fit for what I provide. If you have never done therapy before, or if you have found that your current therapist doesn’t quite “get it,” and you’re hoping to work with someone that has an intimate knowledge of chronic illness and hospital systems, then you will be a great fit. I also work alongside your full-time therapist if you have a therapist you love and would like to stay with while we complete our work together. I am also a good fit for someone who is specifically seeking out an LGBTQ therapist. I only offer virtual therapy at this time.
With 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I take a thoughtful, compassionate, and interactive approach to therapy. I specialize in working with individuals and couples facing challenges such as trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, feelings of dissatisfaction, childhood trauma, and relationship challenges. My career includes working with adolescents, in-home family therapy, chronic mental health needs, and primary care settings. I have recently graduated with my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Framingham State University in May 2024. In my work with couples, I recognize that communication can often be a significant barrier to connection. Many couples I work with experience their own mental health needs, which can complicate interactions and lead to misunderstandings. I create a safe and supportive environment where partners can openly express their thoughts and feelings. Together, we explore the underlying issues that may be hindering communication/connection and work on strategies to enhance understanding and empathy. Using techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic approaches, I help couples develop practical skills for healthier communication. This includes learning how to express needs effectively, navigate conflict, and build emotional intimacy. My goal is to empower couples to reconnect and strengthen their relationships, even in the face of individual challenges. I extend my couple’s work to family therapy, in which I work with small family systems around communication and interactional patterns. For individuals, I focus on fostering self-discovery and skill building. I help clients develop coping strategies tailored to their unique experiences and mental health needs. From Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I pull a blend of coping strategies and reframing to assist individuals in changing what they can change and learning to tolerate/accept what they cannot change. From my experience in primary care, I incorporate wellness both emotionally and physically into sessions. As a recent college graduate, I can relate to the challenges of modern day students. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and as is such, invite clients to share their concerns and feedback throughout the process. My style pulls from a blend of approaches and my approach is interactive. When beneficial, I collaborate with other service providers to enhance our work together. I look forward to walking alongside your journey.
I provide daytime virtual appointments and work with young adults who are struggling with anxiety and depression, substance abuse, and co-occurring, diagnoses. My goal is to welcome you to a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to be yourself and speak openly. Together, we’ll take a look at what you’re going through, build perspective, identify manageable goals, and take steps towards meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based practices to help you progress. I'm accepting new clients and I offer a free brief consultation so we can get to know each other a little bit. I can be reached through email, phone: (617) 214-1846, or via my website.
A client centered approach to therapy starts with ensuring the client and therapist have a strong therapeutic relationship. Not all clients and therapist will be a good match. I work to fully understand my clients lived experience so that I can work with you to achieve your therapeutic goals. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, meaning I may use a variety of evidence based approaches to achieve results.

I work primarily with those suffering from chronic illness. Difficult to treat medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, Lupus, etc. are often poorly understood, and it can be very difficult for patients to find the help and support they need. I teach my clients tools for coping with and managing every day life with these conditions, in addition to mind body medicine practices to help alleviate symptoms and to decrease stress. I have recently started offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy as a way to cope with life stressors or trauma.
I am a Clinical Psychologist and a psychoanalyst, specializing in work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, addiction, trauma, and identity issues. My early career in the NICU as a registered nurse shaped my understanding of trauma, stress, and the long-term psychological impact of medical and life events on patients and families. This led me to pursue specialized training in psychiatric mental health, with a focus on supporting women, trauma-related conditions, and mood and anxiety disorders. I have extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and complex mood disorders. Throughout my practice, I've developed a strong focus and success in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I'm also deeply passionate about women’s mental health, helping patients navigate unique life transitions, hormonal shifts, and the intersecting challenges that impact women's well-being. My approach is centered on empowering patients with practical tools and compassionate insights to foster resilience and meaningful growth. My therapeutic framework is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), allowing me to provide patients with concrete, evidence-based tools to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and executive dysfunction. In addition to CBT, I draw from a wide range of therapeutic modalities to ensure care is collaborative and dynamic. Recognizing that every individual’s journey is unique, I take an integrative and whole-body approach to care. By blending evidence-based modalities like CBT with other person-centered techniques, I'm able to tailor my therapeutic style to match each person's specific goals, strengths, and lifestyle. My hope for every patient is that you feel deeply heard, validated, and empowered in your care. In our sessions, you aren't just a diagnosis; you're a whole person. Together, we'll combine advanced clinical expertise with a compassionate, tailored approach to help you achieve lasting wellness and peace of mind. My hope for you is not just symptom management, but true flourishing. I'm most passionate about the transformative healing journey that begins when a patient feels fully heard and understood. My clinical approach is rooted in exploring a person's complete history and past traumas to understand the 'why' behind their current challenges. By getting to the root of these issues, I'm able to provide targeted care. I find it incredibly rewarding to guide patients through this comprehensive healing process, partnering with them to build a foundation for long-term peace and wellness.

I can support you in managing the worries, sadness, and stress you're feeling in order to have a more enjoyable college experience.

Hi, I’m Eva, a licensed mental health counselor and owner of Rooted Behavioral Health & Wellness in Massachusetts. I work with adolescents and young adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck or like their thoughts have taken over. I draw from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while also keeping sessions real and engaging—because sometimes a little humor can make hard things feel more manageable. Together, we'll take small steps, challenge old patterns, and move forward in ways that once felt impossible. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be real, feel understood, and actually learn tools that make a difference in your everyday life.
