Ebonie attended Georgia State University before obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2011 and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018, both from Argosy University. Ebonie began her counseling career at a mental health hospital conducting assessments, completing treatments plans, and facilitating groups. Ebonie has also worked as an intake therapist, as well as providing patients with care in inpatient/outpatient capacities. She also has experience working with government agencies and private practice. Ebonie worked as a mental health assessor in the emergency room of a local hospital assessing and provisionally diagnosing patients that presented in mental health crisis. After several years in private practice, in June of 2023, Ebonie decided to start her very own private practice, what is now known as A Genuine Experience.
