Welcome! I am most passionate about supporting clients in the LGBTQ+ community, and those working through religious trauma, childhood trauma, and childhood emotional neglect. Together we work on challenges like low self-esteem/self-concept, grief, guilt and shame, trouble making decisions, perfectionism, and people pleasing tendencies. I also support clients working through general anxiety, depression, and life stressors. Clients who may be a good fit for me are motivated to get to know themselves better, process wounds from past experiences, and practice engaging with life in new ways - when they feel ready to do so. I incorporate education about the central nervous system and body based/ sensory grounding techniques into sessions. For in person sessions, I provide fidgets, coloring pages, and collage materials. I will almost always be fidgeting in session. Sometimes clients prefer to sit on the floor or take off their shoes - I welcome sensory adjustments like this! I recognize clients as the experts of their own lives, and see the therapeutic relationship as a type of dance between curious people. I believe therapy can be for anyone, and engage in my own personal therapy journey as well. I aim to create an equitable and judgement free zone in my space. If you'd like me to join you on your journey, reach out! For clients using insurance, I have partnered with Mindful Therapy Group for scheduling, billing, and a physical office space. I can also offer a sliding scale for clients without insurance, though these sessions can only be offered virtually at this time.
My practice is dedicated to working with people who are seeking emotional emancipation. They desire to claim or reclaim their lives after traumatic experiences or relational struggles that have left them feeling down, anxious, lonely, confused or scared and often don't really know how to begin to be different in the midst of all of these feelings. Working with me means exploring together the experiences that make you who you are by looking both at what your life is like today and how your past is informing that life. From this vantage, you can learn to make choices for yourself, freeing the yourself to engage in a life of your own making. I offer a free consultation and my fee is $300.

About me I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma with my 3 siblings by a single mom and my great x2 uncle who was a former teacher and retired military. My Approach I look at people as being multifaceted and are influenced by many in their journey. I'm a firm believer that you can decide to change who you are and become who you want to be whenever you decide to. Together, we'll work on identifying triggers, managing intense emotions, developing effective communication skills, and building healthy coping skills that feel authentic and sustainable, so you can feel safe, emotionally aware, and equipped for lasting healing. Many of my patients feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or disconnected, and struggle with trust, especially within family relationships. If this resonates, you’re not alone. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to meeting you where you are, as a compassionate, genuine, and trustworthy partner every step of the way. Person-centered, strengths-based, and compassionate care isn't just a framework. It's how I show up for every person I work with. My approach is calm, collaborative, and warm, with room for authenticity and laughter, because healing feels comes more naturally when the space truly feels like your own. My path to becoming a therapist began with a desire to create positive change by helping those who feel unheard, unseen, or unable to help themselves. That belief has always been at the core of this work: everyone deserves to feel valued, understood, and supported. Experience in high-acuity and residential settings deepened that commitment, working alongside adolescents and families through their hardest moments. When you work with me, you'll find someone who can sit with you through the difficult times while bringing lightness when it's needed. Every session is designed to feel genuine, approachable, and fully in support of your growth. Outside of the therapy room, life is full and family centered. As a mom, much of my time is spent cheering on my kids across a wide range of activities. including wrestling, football, volleyball, track, basketball, boxing, and cheerleading. Giving back to the community is something that matters close to home, too. Supporting my husband's work building a youth football team that creates opportunities for young people from lower-income communities with a passion for the game is a source of real pride and purpose.
